Converting ODT to DOC: How to do it

ODT is a file extension used by open source programs. Word, on the other hand, uses DOC or DOCX files. You simply make the conversion with Word. You can also use OpenOffice or LibreOffice to turn an ODT file into a DOC. To do this, you must first open the file and then start the Save dialog.

Converting an ODT file

The .odt file extension stands for Open Document Format for Office Applications. It is an open source format used by open source word processing programs. DOC is a file format used by programs such as Microsoft Word and is more widely used than ODT. If you want to send a file or also work on the text document on other computers, it is better to convert the file to a DOC.
