Samsung Galaxy A70: Create Backup

It is advisable to back up your Samsung Galaxy A70 from time to time. This will protect you in the event that you have to reset the smartphone and all data is irrevocably deleted.

How to make a backup for your Samsung Galaxy A70

A backup is a complete or even partial backup of your data. If you accidentally delete something or need to reset your Samsung Galaxy A70, you can easily restore the data from the backup. You back up your data either on your computer or in a cloud.

Backup via cloud

If you want to back up wirelessly, it is best to transfer your data to a cloud. For example, if your Samsung Galaxy A70 is linked to your Google account, then you can use GoogleDrive.
  1. Open the settings on your Samsung.
  2. Switch under "System" in "Backup & Reset".
  3. Here you now select that you want to automatically synchronize data with your Google account. These are thereby stored in GoogleDrive and can be restored at any time.

Archive data on the PC

If you do not want to run automatic backups, but only back up the most important data manually, then connect your Samsung to the PC:
  1. Plug the USB cable into your Samsung Galaxy A70 and into your PC.
  2. Open a new Explorer window with Windows key + E and click on "This PC" on the left.
  3. Now select your smartphone here by double-clicking it.
  4. In the folders you will find various files of your own, such as photos and music. Copy this data to your computer.
