PDF: Four pages on one page - here's how

It is not always sufficient if you have a file digitally. It can be helpful if you can access a document in paper form, for example, to mark important things. To save paper and toner, a good option is to compress four pages onto one page when printing.

How to convert the PDF

1. If you want to print the file, you can easily make the request using the print program.
2. Just set it there that you want to print four pages on one page, and the PDF file will be printed that way. Be prepared, however, that this is accompanied by a loss of quality.
3. If your focus is not on printing, but on compressing the file, you should work with a tool such as Ghostscript or Ghostview.
4. Both tools can be downloaded free of charge and there you can set the size to which you want to compress the desired PDF file.
