The Witcher 3: Activate console - how to do it

The Witcher 3 offers with the two DLCs numerous characters, missions and places to discover. As in the previous parts, you'll slip into the role of the witcher Geralt and accompany him on his way. If you want to use cheat codes, you must first activate the console.

How to activate the console in The Witcher 3

There are numerous cheats for The Witcher 3, with which you can get more money or even certain items. This requires codes that you have to enter into the debug console and execute. But before that is possible, the console must first be activated.

1. Go to the Nexus Mods page and download the mod "Debug Console Enabler".
2. For this, use the "Download (Manual)" button.
3. Then go to the installation folder of Witcher 3, where the executable file of the game is located.
4. Then open the folder "bin" and then "x64". Now add to this location all the files that are in the downloaded folder.
5. Once you have restarted the game, you can open the console with "~" or the F1 key.
6. If you now want to level up, for example, open the console and enter "levelup". Then confirm the input with the Enter key. The command will be executed immediately.
