Is there a limit to Apple Pay?

In order to use Apple Pay on your iPhone, tablet or Apple Watch, you must have a valid credit card. Then you can set up the service on your device and store the respective data of the credit card there. You can also make additional settings, such as contactless payment or verification using the device. You can then use Apple Pay to pay online, but also in many stores.

• In order to pay for your purchases with Apple Pay, your credit card must be equipped with a sufficient availability limit. You can have this adjusted at your respective bank according to individual needs.
• Furthermore, this limit, which is on your credit card, is automatically adopted when paying with Apple Pay, so that the limit of Apple Pay corresponds to that of your credit card.
• If, however, it is about contactless payment, that is, the limit up to which you do not have to enter a PIN, it looks different.
