Alternatives to the ADAC: These clubs also exist!
The ADAC is probably the best known automobile club in Germany and is therefore also used by many people. In addition to the ADAC, however, there are also plenty of alternatives that also offer good services. Not every service, however, offers all-around sufficient help and always has exactly what you may just need.
Alternatives to the ADAC: The ACE
The ACE, or Auto Club Europe, includes about 620,000 members and offers protection throughout Europe.- Although membership in the ACE does not include its own breakdown service, the club works closely with other contractual partners to be able to offer a service in this case as well.
- A membership in the ACE costs you about 70 euros a year for the whole family. In comparison, you pay at the ADAC usually more than 130 euros.
- Accessible is the club around the clock, so you do not have to worry at any time to be on their own.
The AvD: Another alternative to the ADAC
- AvD stands for Automobile Club of Germany and is estimated to have over 1.4 million members.
- People up to the age of 23 can even be a member of the AvD for free.
