Performing an update manually

This is how you perform an update on your Fritzbox manually:

1. First go to the user interface of your Fritzbox via your PC.
2. Then log in to your Fritzbox with your user name and password.
3. Now click on "Wizard".
4. After that, the page opens and the "Update" button appears. Click this to perform the update.
5. The update may take a while. Finally, your Fritzbox reboots and is equipped with the latest version.

Automatic Update

How to enable automatic updates on your Fritzbox:

1. Go back to the user interface of your Fritzbox and log in with your data.
2. Then select the category "System" and then "Auto Update".
3. Click on "Apply" afterwards. Your Fritzbox will now update itself automatically when a new version. This usually happens during the night when you do not need the Fritzbox. About the settings of your Fritzbox, you can always see the latest version of your Fritzbox.
