Uplay: Change password - how to adjust the credentials

Uplay is the in-house platform of the publisher and developer Ubisoft. To use the platform, you need to create a user account, which you then use to log in. Learn how to change your login details and how to reset your password here.

How to change your Uplay password

If you want to change your Uplay password, it works through the settings of your Uplay account.

1. Go to the Uplay homepage in your browser and log in with your user data.
2. Click on your image in the top right corner and select "Account Information" from the menu.
3. Switch to the "Security" category and click on the "Change" option under the "Password" item.
4. You will then receive an email at the email address stored in your account containing a link for you to set a new password.

Reset password - here's how

If you have forgotten your password, you have the option to set a new one using the Forgot Password feature.

1. Start Uplay and click "Forgot Password?"
2. In the login screen, enter the email address stored in the account and click "Submit". You will then receive an email with a link that will allow you to reset the password.
3. Go to your mailbox and click on the link. Now and then it happens that the email ends up in the spam folder.
4. Enter a new password in the new window and finally click "OK" to confirm.
