iCloud: Drive doesn't sync - what to do?

Thanks to Apple's cloud service, you can access your files from any device. However, there may be times when the iCloud drive does not sync. This problem can usually be fixed quickly.

How iCloud works

Files that you sync via iCloud can be found on your devices in the Files app or in the iCloud Drive folder if you are using iOS 10 or older. In addition, you can also reach the data via iCloud's website if you log in with your Apple ID.

Causes and solutions: Drive of iCloud does not sync

If you can connect to the Internet and still the data in your iCloud does not sync, do the following:
  1. Make sure you are logged in on the device where you have stored the data.
  2. After that, also check if you are logged in on the device where you want to receive the data in iCloud.
  3. Save another file in iCloud and check if it is uploaded.
  4. Eventually, the data may not sync because there is no more space available. Delete some files that you no longer need from iCloud.
If all this does not remedy the situation and your files still do not sync with iCloud Drive, Apple will help you. Just stay logged into iCloud and then contact "Apple Support" https://tipps.computerbild.de/hardware/apple/apple-support-hotline-so-erreichen-sie-den-support-664787.html) for help.
