Samsung Note 10: Suppress number - how to do it
By default, the number of your Samsung Note 10 is transmitted when you make a call. To prevent this, the device has a function to suppress the number, but you need to activate it beforehand. We explain exactly how this works here.
How to suppress your number on the Samsung Note 10
If you want to make a call on your Samsung Note 10 without the person you are calling finding out your phone number, you have the option to suppress it. To suppress your number, please proceed as follows:- Please open the phone app on your Samsung Note 10 by tapping the "handset icon" on the device's home screen.
- In the phone app, then tap the "three-dot icon" in the top right corner to open the app's menu and select the "Settings" item.
- Navigate there to "More Settings" > "Show My Number" and tap "Hide Number" to enable number suppression.
- If you have successfully activated the function, your name or number will no longer be displayed to the called party and instead the note "Private number" or "Unknown" will appear on the display.
