These are the things you need to keep in mind for a display repair

For an Apple-certified repair, you can drop off your iPhone 11 at an Apple Store or an authorized service provider. Alternatively, send the smartphone to one of Apple's repair centers. For this, contact Apple Support to get a shipping box.

• Before you drop off the iPhone 11 for repair, create a backup. If this does not work due to the screen damage directly via the smartphone, you can also create the backup via iTunes.
• The cost of a display replacement depends on the particular repair shop. At Apple itself, you pay around 220.90 euros for a display repair outside the warranty. If there is further damage to your iPhone 11, however, additional costs may apply.
• Some of the Apple service providers offer a display repair on the same day. Have you sent your iPhone directly to the repair center, however, the repair may take 6 to 8 days.

Display repair with AppleCare+

If you have an active AppleCare+ contract, the cost of repair is significantly lower. Instead of the 220.90 euros, you only pay a small deductible of 29 euros for the repair via the Apple Store or the Apple repair center. Under certain circumstances, the repair is also covered by the normal Apple warranty.
