Disney Plus: Cancellation period - what you need to know

If you want to access Disney Plus content, then you need to create an account beforehand. In addition, it is necessary to book a subscription. In doing so, the fixed amount is due monthly. If you want to cancel the subscription and not renew it automatically, then you must comply with the appropriate notice period.

This cancellation period applies to Disney Plus

The new streaming service Disney Plus is already available in Germany since 24.03.2020. If you want to use it, you have to book a subscription. The amount for the account will be debited monthly. Alternatively, you can already pay the amount for a whole year. If you want to cancel the subscription again, then you must comply with the relevant deadlines to prevent the subscription from being automatically renewed.
  1. You can cancel the subscription with Disney Plus at any time to the end of the next billing period.
  2. Make sure that you carry out the cancellation until shortly before the end of this date. The specific notice period is two weeks.
  3. If you have opted for monthly billing, you can therefore cancel the subscription monthly. With a yearly subscription, on the other hand, you are bound to the subscription for that year.
  4. If you are still in the seven-day trial phase, then you must cancel the membership before the end of the phase. Otherwise, the subscription is automatically extended into a paid membership.
