How do I connect Echo Plus to wifi? Here's how
An Echo is a modern speaker from Amazon that runs the voice assistant Alexa. However, for Alexa to work correctly, the Echo must be connected to the WLAN. This allows Alexa to connect to Amazon and recognize your voice. The connection can be easily established with the Alexa app.
How to connect Echo Plus to WLAN
You can find the Alexa app in the App or Google Play Store. Once you have downloaded and installed the app, there are only a few steps left.- First, make sure that the Echo is connected to power. If this is not the case, connect the Echo to the power.
- Start the Alexa app and tap the gear icon in the bottom right corner.
- Select the Echo from the list of devices. If it is not here, you must first set up the device.
- Now continue tapping "Change" > "Connect to Wi-Fi". The Echo should now glow orange. If this is not the case, you need to press the action button on the Echo for five seconds.
- You will now get an overview of all available WLAN networks in the vicinity. Select the one you want to connect the Echo and enter the password.
- Confirm the operation and the Echo should connect to the new WLAN.
