All causes for a blocked Amazon account

First, a little warning: if you have received an email that your Amazon account has been blocked, it could be a phishing attempt! Manually visit Amazon's official website instead of clicking on links in the mail to check your account.However, if the message is quite official and your Amazon account has indeed been suspended, there is usually only one known cause for this: You have too many returns.

• It's no problem to return an item if you don't like it, it's damaged or something similar. For many items, you have a right of return over 30 days.
• However, you should not indiscriminately order everything and simply send it back, because this can be the cause of a block on your Amazon account.
• For frequent customers, cases are known in which circa 10 percent returns have led to the account out.
• This can be explained by the fact that a return is quite time-consuming and costly for Amazon. Customers who return many items therefore seem to be unwanted.
• In addition to too many returns, the manner of return can also result in exclusion from the online store. If you send back the wrong items or if, for example, clothing looks worn, Amazon assumes the worst and suspects that you have committed fraud.
