Star Citizen: How to use beacons - all info

In Star Citizen, collaboration between players is supposed to emerge dynamically. Service beacons provide the technical framework for this. Our guide explains what they are and how they are used.

Beacons are light signals. In Star Citizen, they can rely on them to request assistance or help other players.

Beacons are intended to promote player dynamics in Star Citizen

Beacons can be set at any time. This is quite simple:

1. This is done in the "Contracts Manager" of mobiGlas, and specifically in the tab "Beacons".
2. Then click on "Create Beacon" in the upper right corner.
3. There you can enter the type of order and other details, for example, the destination of an escort. Also very important: The payment in the field right below.
4. With "Broadcast Beacon" you send the signal.

Followed by the message appears to all players in the vicinity and they can decide whether they accept the order. If you yourself want to help via Beacon, you just have to wait until a signal appears in your HUD. You can then accept this by pressing a key (by default "Ü").Beacons are thus not only a way to earn money, but also to get to know other players or spontaneously have a task. This adds variety and dynamism to the game while one player gets help from another.
