Preferences of an own ringtone

By creating your own ringtone, you can customize your cell phone more to your liking. Likewise, it is very convenient to use a personal ringtone for any application. This way you always have an overview of which app wants to notify you. Individual contacts can also be equipped with certain ringtones. This allows you to weigh up which messages can wait a bit and which are very important. You can create the ringtones with many different apps. On Android phones, however, it is also possible to cut them on your PC and then transfer them to your smartphone.

How do you create a ringtone?

1. First cut a sound on your computer. This can be done with various editing programs for MP3 files. This is especially helpful if you do not want to play your ringtone from the beginning of a song.
2. Now save the created file in the directory of your phone.
3. Within your system settings, navigate to the "Sounds" tab. There you can select a new ringtone from your music library.
4. Now select the file you saved earlier.
