The whisper mode must first be activated:

• This is done simply by voice command: "Alexa, activate whisper mode" or a similar statement is sufficient for this.

The prerequisite is that the software is up to date. As a result of whisper mode, Alexa also responds quietly to softly spoken commands. The purpose is obvious: especially in the evening or at night, when quiet is desired in the household, Alexa holds back with the volume. Alexa always adapts to the human voice: As soon as you talk again in normal volume with the assistant, the answer also comes back no longer whispered.
