If you select it, you can send the corresponding file directly to another program or even copy it to a CD-ROM. If the program to which you want to send the file is not yet in the "Send to" context menu, you can add it as follows:
  1. Press the key combination of "Windows key" + "R" to start the Run dialog.
  2. Type there the command "shell: sendto" and confirm with "Enter".
  3. Thereupon a new folder opens, in which all shortcuts are located, which are usable in the "Send to" menu.
  4. To add a new entry to the folder, please create a shortcut from the desired program and drag it into the Sendto folder.

How to send files directly to the printer in Windows 10

In addition to the ability to send files to certain programs, you can also use the "Send To" menu for printing. For this to work, it is necessary to include your printer in the context menu beforehand. To do this, open the Run dialog again and execute the command "shell:sendto". Then enter the command "shell:PrintersFolder" there as well to open the folder with all available printers and drag your printer into the "Sendto" folder to create a shortcut.
