Change IP address - this is how it works via software

It can happen that your IP address is blocked by individual providers for various reasons. With appropriate software, you can change your IP address and regain access to various applications on the Internet.

Changing your IP address is not complicated if you know how to proceed.

1. The first step is to download the free program Router Reconnect.
2. You will now see a ZIP file, which you need to unzip before you are shown the individual files.
3. In the readme file you can again understand exactly how the file works and what authorization the program requires.
4. Click on the application file with a double click and wait until the program has installed itself.
5. Allow Router Reconnet to restart your computer or laptop afterwards. This is only necessary during installation.
6. Now open the program. It now independently searches for a new IP for you.
7. Once the program closes itself, your IP address has been changed.

With your IP address, you identify yourself on the Internet, especially if you do not have a user account with a provider. If your IP address is blocked, you can no longer access the content. By changing it quickly and easily, the block will not be active and you can continue surfing as usual.
