How to enable your Google Chrome Flash Player

If you want to use videos or audio files with Flash content on your computer, you need an enabled Flash plug-in. We show you how to enable and disable your Flash Player in Google Chrome.

Enable Adobe Flash Player in Chrome

Chrome automatically includes a Flash Player without you having to install or enable it. If a plug-in you installed manually was disabled in Google Chrome, you can turn it back on at any time.

1. Open Google Chrome.
2. Type chrome://extensions/ in the address bar of your browser and press Enter.
3. Search for "Adobe Flash Player" in the plug-ins that appear.
4. Select the blue "Enable" link.
5. Your Flash Player is available again.

If you do not have an extension installed that prevents Flash from running, first check that your browser is up to date. To do this, click on the menu icon at the top right, go to "Help" and then "About Chrome". The browser will update itself automatically, as far as an update is pending.

4. Klicken Sie rechts neben dem Eintrag auf die Schaltfläche und entscheiden Sie sich für „Zulassen“.
5. Anschießend müssen Sie die Website nur neu laden, damit Chrome den Flash Player für die Internetseite aktiviert.
