How to download Microsoft Teams

In the basic version, downloading Microsoft Teams is completely free. There is a small fee for unlimited use of the application.

1. Click the download link and follow the instructions to install Teams on your PC or smartphone.
2. After downloading, open the application on your device and sign in with your Microsoft account credentials.

Good to know: Since Teams, like Office 365, is part of Microsoft 365 Apps, you need a Business or Enterprise license to sign in.

Will Microsoft Teams work without a download?

You can use Microsoft Teams without downloading and registering, but only as a participant in a meeting. To join a meeting in the online version of Teams, simply click on the join link in the email invitation. It is not necessary to use the desktop app for this.
