Creating a VMware backup - how to back up your data
Nowadays you don't have to perform an installation every time you want to use a new operating system. You can also simply create a PC in a VM (Virtual Machine) and then install the operating system on it. You can then also create a backup from the PC.
How to create a VMware backup?
Sometimes it is worthwhile to create a backup with the VMware, which you can then easily load again later. To do this, proceed as follows:- Download the VMware Recovery Tool and install it on your PC.
- In order to open the tool, you need another tool, and that is the ISOBuster.
- Now use the VMware client by starting it and then press "Home" and then "Application", "VMware Data Recovery" and "Connect".
- Now go to the in the backup tab and click "New". Give the backup a name and click "Next".
- Now select the virtual machine you want to backup and specify where you want to store the backup.
- Now you just need to confirm the license agreement and create the backup by clicking "Next". After the backup has been saved, the file should show up in the location you specified.
