Satisfactory: This is FICSIT Inc. - the story background

Satisfactory is not a story-heavy game. Nevertheless, there is a little background information about your arrival on the planet MASSAGE-2(AB) b, and the name FICSIT plays a central role.

On behalf of FICSIT: In Satisfactory, you enter an alien planet as an engineer.

Your journey in Satisfactory serves a clear purpose. After all, you are traveling on behalf of a large interstellar company.

Satisfactory: FICSIT Inc. is your employer

FICSIT Inc. is a fictitious company as whose employee you are sent alone to the new planet.

• The goal is clear: you must mine raw materials there and set up production chains. By space elevator FICSIT home base should benefit from this.
• The name FICSIT is not a coincidence, but an allusion: the pronunciation is, after all, identical to "fix it", which means "fix it". This fits the game principle of Satisfactory, since you have to optimize, correct or realign your plants again and again.
• According to the story, FICSIT is run by Caterina Parks; the CEO, however, does not appear directly in the game.
