Keeping an eye on data consumption is especially important when using a mobile plan with limited data volume. As known from previous Android versions, the data consumption is also listed in detail in Android 11 in the system settings of the smartphone. Based on the data, you can see exactly which application consumes how much. How you can call up the consumption overview depends on the manufacturer of the device.To call up the data consumption on Google smartphones:

1. Open the settings of your smartphone.
2. Tap in the overview on "Network & Internet".
3. Then select the menu item "Mobile network".
4. Tap there on "Mobile data usage" to call up an overview of the data consumption. In addition to an overall overview, the consumption of the individual apps is also displayed here.

Restrict data consumption - you have these options

Google also offers a data saving mode that restricts the consumption of the apps.

1. Rufen Sie erneut die Einstellungen auf und wechseln in die Kategoire „Netzwerk & Internet“.
