Facebook: Delete chronicle - how to remove old content

Facebook is already an old hand at social networking. Therefore, you may well find content in your chronicle that is no longer relevant or about which you have changed your view. There is an option to delete old posts from your Chronicle.

Delete your chronicle

By deleting your chronicle, you can get an overview again and at the same time make sure that unwanted content disappears.
  1. Log in to Facebook and then click on your profile picture to get to your data.
  2. Each post in your Chronicle has three dots in the top right corner. Click on them. A drop-down menu will appear.
  3. Click on "Delete" in it and the post will disappear permanently from your chronicle. If you were linked in a post, only the entry disappears in your chronicle, but not the post itself.
  4. If you want to delete all entries, you must download the browser extension iMacros. This automates the process and can thus remove all contents of the chronicle.
  5. To do this, click on "Record" > "Record Macro" within your chronicle and then delete some posts manually. Then stop the process and click "Play Macro" so that the program does the deletion.

No selection

If you delete your chronicle automatically, then you can not make a selection. Therefore, think twice, as this may also remove memories and moments that you may want to keep.
