Fallout 76: Beta phase announced - but not for everyone

Fallout 76 has a great name, but even before the release it caused controversy because of the online principle. At least: With a beta phase, skeptics can get an idea of the situation before buying the game. However, not all players are invited.

Fallout 76: Beta only for pre-orderers

The announcement that Fallout 76 will be an online-only game did not cause enthusiasm everywhere. Can a beta dispel the doubts? However, those who are already looking forward to the beta should know the following:

• It was not an open beta, because only pre-orderers are allowed to participate.
• The beta version was released on October 23, 2018 for Xbox One and on 30. October 2018 for PC and PS4.
• Players are supposed to deliberately take advantage of the beta to uncover potential bugs so that they can be fixed before release.
• In typical Fallout lingo, by the way, there is talk of a B.E.T.A., which stands for stress-first test application.

So this request is to be taken literally. And that's good for everyone: should participants provide useful feedback, the B.E.T.A. will ultimately also benefit those players who haven't pre-ordered Fallout 76, as potential bugs will be ironed out in time for the release on November 14, 2018.
