Record Sky+ Receiver broadcast: How to do it

You can easily record broadcasts with your Sky+ Receiver. Since the Sky+ receiver is a hard drive receiver, you also need a hard drive compatible with Sky+. You can get one directly from your provider. With the various recording functions, you can then flexibly save your broadcasts.

How to record broadcasts with the Sky+ Receiver

Recording broadcasts with the Sky+ Receiver is straightforward, and you can either pre-program the device or record the current program.
  1. To record a program from the current program, switch to the appropriate channel.
  2. Press the REC button.
  3. Select until which time should be recorded. Under "Manual input" you can specify the time frame to the minute.
  4. Press "Ok".
  5. Even if you want to manually program the recording for a station, switch to the corresponding station.
  6. In the Info menu, press "Recording" and select "Program recording manually". Confirm with "Ok".
  7. Set the time. If you want to record series, you can set under "Repeat" that the recording should be created at the same time on additional weekdays.

How to schedule recordings for your Sky package

For programs, series or individual episodes from your Sky package, you can schedule the recording:
  1. For example, select a future program via the info menu.
  2. Press REC.
  3. Choose between "Record this show", "Record only this episode" and "Record all episodes".
  4. Press "Ok".
