Since the announcement of Google Stadia, many rumors and conjectures have surrounded the gaming cloud. Now Google has finally given official info, including the most important criterion: the cost.

Google Stadia: Costs and subscriptions at a glance

The costs of Stadia depend on the package. There are namely different variants to choose from:
  • To take advantage of all the features, you need Stadia Pro. This will cost 9.99 euros per month and allows you to access the game library. Depending on your internet connection, Pro will allow you to play in 4K and 60 FPS. Dolby 5.1 is also supported.
  • All games will not be available with this, however, as publishers may still introduce additional subscriptions. It can be assumed that for games from major studios such as Ubisoft, Bethesda and Co. will incur additional costs.
  • In addition, there are regular discounts on game purchases.
  • In the coming year (2020) comes Stadia Base. The Base subscription is free, but it won't let you play in the highest resolution, plus you won't have access to the gaming flat rate, Dolby 5.1 is also not supported, and there are no special offers.
