First, you need to activate speech output. At the same point, you also make the settings:

1. Press "Win" + "I" simultaneously to open the "Windows Settings".
2. Select "Ease of use".
3. Click on "Speech output" on the left.
4. Switch the slider at "Enable speech output" to "On".

Thereupon a human voice sounds directly, which informs you about the activated speech output. The voice accompanies you through all areas of Windows, always based on which element you click, such as browser window, folder, Windows menu or Excel document.To the speech output, you have many customization options, for example:

• You can select the voice and in connection with it also the language and the speech rate.
• Also handy is the relative volume of the voice output in relation to the sound of other applications.
• The level of detail of the voice output can also be adjusted gradually.

The list of possibilities is long and affects virtually all aspects of the voice output - a truly individual setting is thus possible.
