iOS 13: Public Beta - how to test the update

Apple has already announced iOS 13 some time ago. Now that the closed beta has ended, the public beta has already started. If your device is compatible, you can also test the latest iOS update on your iPhone right now. However, to use the public beta, some steps are necessary.

How to participate in the public beta for iOS 13

The update to iOS 13 will be officially available for all compatible devices in the fall of 2019. Then it will be possible to install iOS 13 as usual via "Settings" > "General" > "Software update". Would you like to test the new features of the operating system beforehand, then this is currently possible via the public beta.

1. Before you install the beta version of iOS 13 on your iPhone, create a backup of your data.
2. Then go to the website for the beta.
3. Log in there with your Apple account.
4. Now you are registered for the beta program. Now go to the website again with your iPhone and log in.
5. Then click on "Load profile".
