Windows 10: Set screensaver
In the past, the classic Windows screensavers were standard in every office. They made sure that the workday was a bit brightened up with bubbles, slideshows and 3D logos. You can also set various screen savers in Windows 10, but nowadays this is no longer done for energy-saving reasons.
How is a screen saver created in Windows 10?
Setting up a screensaver under Windows 10 can be accomplished in just a few steps.- Open the settings by either typing "settings" in the search bar at the bottom left or by clicking on the Windows icon and then the gear.
- Once you are in the settings, look for the option "Personalize" and click on it, then go to "Lock Screen" in the menu on the left.
- Here you will now find the option "Screen Saver Settings" at the very bottom. In the window that now opens, you will find all the settings for the screen saver. You can choose which screensaver you want to see and also after what time it should appear.
- Here you have the choice between 3D text, photos, blank, Mistify, bows and bubbles. You should set the waiting time to about five minutes.
- You can also choose a different background for the lock screen in the lock screen menu. By default, the Windows viewpoint is selected here. However, you can also use your own snapshot to give your PC your own personal touch. You also have the option to disable the lock screen completely.
