Destiny 2: Cross-Save System Explained - All Info
With the Cross-Save System, developer Bungie was able to win many sympathy points with the gaming community. This is a system that allows you to access your existing Destiny 2 save from anywhere. For this, you only need the account data.
Destiny 2: How Cross Save works
Destiny 2 is a first-person shooter that impresses primarily with a story and its numerous raids. Since 2019, the game has also been available via Steam and since then, numerous contents have been added. One of them is the cross-save function. This was introduced for Destiny 2 in summer 2019.- Cross Save is aimed at players who own Destiny 2 on at least two platforms (for example, PC and PlayStation 4). With the release of Google Stadia, the Gaming Cloud was also compatible with this feature.
- Per Cross Save, you can set a main account with which you can play on all platforms from now on and always take the progress with you.
- There is, however, a restriction: you can only take a maximum of three guardians in total. For example, if you have a total of eight guardians spread across three platforms, you must choose three. The other characters remain on their respective platforms.
- To use Cross-Save, you must activate the feature once. This is done in the Bungie account under "Cross Save".
