Start laptop in safe mode

The safe mode is quick and easy to start. You can use the feature when your laptop stops loading the user interface properly. In Safe Mode, you navigate only with the keyboard, not the mouse, as the graphical user interface does not launch.

How to start your laptop in safe mode

Safe mode is a convenient option when your computer shows malfunctions. In this mode, only a simple user interface is loaded, without using graphics drivers and autostart programs. For example, you can access the system even if a virus or hardware problems prevent Windows from starting. Safe mode can be activated in a few steps via a reboot. You have three different options to choose from. You can activate the safe mode immediately, activate it with network drivers or start the mode with command prompt. You will find the corresponding commands after you have prompted the computer to activate safe mode.

How it works

1. Click on the Windows icon at the bottom left of the taskbar.
2. In der linken Symbolleiste klicken Sie auf das untere Symbol.

5. Der Computer fährt nun herunter.
