How to enable night switching in FritzBox
The FritzBox is probably one of the most popular home routers. You can make a lot of settings for the router. With the night circuit, you can specify whether the WLAN should turn off at a certain time. This can save you a lot of energy and power.
How it works: Activate night switching via the FritzBox
To activate night switching, you need to call up the corresponding menu in the FritzBox and activate the function.- Open a browser of your choice and enter "fritz.box" in the URL bar.
- Confirm the entry with the Enter key and enter your password on the login page of the FritzBox. This can usually be found on the bottom of the router or it is a self-selected.
- Now press the bottom right on "System" and then further on "Night Switch". Here you can now choose whether the WLAN should be turned off every day at a certain time or whether you want to turn it off differently every day of the week. There is also the option to disable the WLAN only when no device is connected to it anymore.
- If you choose the option with different days of the week, a graphic will appear under the options where you can specify the times.
- Wenn Sie abschließend auf „Übernehmen“ klicken, werden die Einstellungen übernommen und das WLAN wird so, wie von Ihnen konfiguriert, zu bestimmten Zeitpunkten ein- und ausgestellt.
