My BahnCard: These are the costs for young customers

Deutsche Bahn offers all people under 27 the BahnCard at cheaper conditions. The model is called My BahnCard and our guide takes a look at the costs.

For those who regularly travel by train, the BahnCard is almost a must. Young people come off particularly well.

My BahnCard: costs depending on level and class in the check

The My BahnCard is only available in the variants 25 and 50.The prices:

• For the My BahnCard 25 you pay 34.20 euros per year for 2nd class and 71.50 euros for 1st class. The regular prices are 54.60 euros and 109.90 euros.
• The My BahnCard 50 costs 60.70 euros per year (2nd class) and 221.80 (1st class) instead of the normal 224.70 euros and 454.30 euros.

Specially with the My BahnCard 50, the savings are therefore enormous. It is important that you are younger than 27 years at the time of purchase; the My BahnCard is then valid as usual for a full year. For the official overview, go this way.
