Deutsche Bahn: Super Sparpreis Young explained - the conditions

It's no secret that Deutsche Bahn likes to lure young people with special conditions. This also applies to regular ticket bookings, where the Super Sparpreis Young is available at a fixed price.

While stocks last: the Super Sparpreis Young is always available for a limited time only.

The Youth BahnCard is a good example of the youth affinity of Deutsche Bahn. But even without a BahnCard, certain passengers can benefit from their age.

Deutsche Bahn: This is the Super Sparpreis Young

Tickets via the Super Sparpreis Young are available at an extremely low fixed price:
  • This is 12.90 euros per ticket.
  • With both BahnCard 25 and 50, there is a further 25 percent discount.
  • Passengers under 27 years of age are eligible.
  • Journeys are possible on selected routes through Germany, including with the ICE.
It is important to note, however, that the Super Sparpreis Young is always only available as part of a limited-time promotion. The first sales phase and thus the introduction of these tickets ran from September 8 to November 1, 2020, the stock was one million tickets. In the future, young rail passengers who missed this opportunity will simply have to keep their eyes open for the next promotion.
