Breakout rooms are separate sessions that give participants of large meetings the opportunity to talk specifically in a smaller setting.

• This is very practical for many areas of application, not only for work purposes, but also in home schooling, as group work or individual discussions can take place there.
• Zoom allows up to 50 separate sessions per meeting.
• Each breakout room can enter up to 200 participants, if the add-on "Large Meeting 200" is available.

Within the breakout rooms there is full functionality, the quality of the online meeting thus remains the same high. Breakout Rooms can be created by all participants, provided that the authorization is given. This in turn falls under the responsibility of the admin, who is permanently defined in each Zoom session.
