Create screenshot with specific section of image
Screenshots are a capture of the entire screen. However, there are ways to actually capture only a certain area of the screen. In most cases, this not only results in a better-resolution image, but also allows you to better focus on the crucial point.
The snipping tool
In Windows, there is a pre-installed tool especially for this case, which helps you to precisely capture the desired area.- Press the [Windows] key and type "Snipping" in the search box.
- Once you see the tool, select it and launch the program.
- Alternatively, you can find it under "Start" > "Accessories" > "Snipping Tool".
- Once the window opens, click "New" in the upper right corner and choose an option.
- If you want to capture only a certain area of the screen, select "Rectangular Snipping" on.
- Now you can drag a frame around the area you want to be seen on the capture.
- Once you release the frame with the mouse button, the screenshot will be made from the selected area.
