Create a Samsung account - these options are available

If you own a Samsung smartphone, you can access all services using a Samsung account. This includes, for example, the "Find my Mobile" function, which allows you to find your phone at any time. You can easily set up a Samsung account directly from your smartphone.

How to create a Samsung account

With a Samsung account, you can log in to your smartphone and use it to access various services. Besides the "Find my Mobile" function, you can also save your data in the Samsung Cloud with the help of the account. But before this is possible, you must first set up the account via your smartphone.

1. If your smartphone uses Android 9.0 (Pie), then first go to "Settings".
2. After that, select the option "Accounts and backup".
3. Here, click on "Accounts" and then on "Add account".
4. Tap the "Samsung Account" button and then go to "Create Account" further down.
5. Read the T&Cs and special terms carefully and confirm them by tapping "Next".
6. Now enter an email address and a password of your choice. In addition, you must enter your first name, last name and date of birth.
7. Confirm the entries via "Create".
8. You will now receive an email at the address you entered. Click on the link in the email to complete the account creation.
