You need a Speedport Neo router to connect to the Internet. However, before this is possible, you need to set up the router. 1. First connect your router as described in the instructions. For this, you need to plug the integrated DSL cable into the telephone socket and the Speedport directly into a wall socket. Pay attention to the alignment of the device.
2. Now wait some time until the status LED stops flashing and starts pulsing or is permanently lit. This can take up to ten minutes. Do not disconnect the Speedport from the power during this time. If the LED is yellow, an update is being performed.
3. Now connect the router to your computer via WLAN or an Ethernet cable.
