Safari: Clear website data - how to do it
You can clear your browser usage data if, for example, you don't want anyone to see which pages you've visited. In Safari, clearing website data works with a few clicks.
What to do to clear cookies, history and cache in Safari?
The website data to clear are cookies, history and cache. In history, you can easily check which pages you have visited. If you do not delete it, you can trace the history back to your first visit to the site. Cookies are how sites store information about you, such as preferred color settings, articles, or even your passwords.Cache is the term used to describe your browser's temporary memory. Data is stored here so that pages can be saved more quickly in the future. However, if this is filled with data about pages you rarely visit, it can also slow down the browser. In "Private browsing" mode, no data about you is stored in the first place.Remove all website data in Safari
To clear all website data from Safari, proceed as follows:- First clear the history by clicking "History > Manage website data..." in the menu bar in Safari, and then clicking "Clear history". Confirm this by clicking on "Delete".
