The seventh generation of the Moto G series is ready to hit the market: four smartphones with a special eye on design. Here's how they will be
Motorola RAZR, but not only. The U.S. company is ready to launch on the market the new range of smartphones Moto G, one of the most popular of users looking for mid-range smartphones. For the seventh generation of Moto G smartphones, Motorola has chosen to launch on the market as many as four smartphones that will differ in features and design.
Moto G7, Moto G7 Plus, Moto G7 Play and Moto G7 Power: these will be the names of the smartphones that the U.S. company (now owned by Lenovo) will launch at an event in Brazil next month and that we will see in Europe for the first time during the Mobile World Congress 2019 in Barcelona. Moto G7 and Moto G7 Plus will be mid-range devices with good value for money and will have a teardrop notch, while the Moto G7 Play will be an entry-level with a slightly larger notch. The Moto G7 Power, however, is dedicated to those who want a smartphone with an autonomy of at least two days (and in fact the battery will be 5000mAh).
Moto G7, characteristics
A mid-range device that will be positioned on the same level as the various Chinese smartphones: Honor 10 Lite, Huawei P20 Lite, Xiaomi Mi A2. The Moto G7 will have a Snapdragon 660 chipset with to support 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory. The screen is expected to be 6 inches with FullHD+ resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone will have a notch, but it will be very small in size and will have a teardrop shape. Battery of at least 3000mAh. It will arrive in Black and White colors.
Moto G7 Plus, features
In comparison to the "little brother" the Moto G7 Plus will have a slightly larger screen (6.2 inches) and a larger amount of RAM (4GB). Should be identical chipset (Snapdragon 660) and dual rear cam. The rear sensor will be placed in the logo at the back. The notch will be small and teardrop-shaped. Available in two colors: Red and Blue.
Moto G7 Play, features
Smaller and less performing, but with a more aggressive price. The Moto G7 Play will be an entry-level smartphone with a starting price of 149 euros. On board we will find a Snapdragon 625 processor, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The screen will be 5.8 inches with a slightly larger notch and more similar to that of the iPhone X. The rear camera will be single. The Moto G7 Play will hit the market with a 3000mAh battery. Available colors: Gold and Blue.
Moto G7 Power, features
A true battery phone. The Moto G7 Power is dedicated to those who are looking for a smartphone with a virtually infinite battery. On board we will find the Snapdragon 625 with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The screen will be 6 inches with elongated notch. The fingerprint sensor will be located at the back along with the single camera. 5000mAh battery. It will arrive on the market at a price of 209 euros.
When the Moto G7 comes out
The smartphones will be presented next month in Brazil, while for the official presentation in Europe we will have to wait for the Mobile World Congress 2019 in Barcelona. The market release is expected in late February-early March.
