The technical specifications filed by Samsung for certifications speak for themselves: the Galaxy S21 will be a true top of the range and, in Ultra version, can not cost little
Are now very few doubts about the technical characteristics of the Samsung Galaxy S21 and its release date: the next top of the range Korean will arrive on the market in January next year, at most by the first half of February, and will have the best components on the market today. The latest confirmations come from India, where the Galaxy S21 has passed the BIS certifications preparatory to sale to the general public.
As happens more and more often (almost always, now), the data sheet filed with the certification body on duty has been spread on the network and then we know how it will be the flagship 2021 Samsung in almost every detail, from the processor to RAM, from the screen to the battery, passing of course for the photo section. We also know that the S21 range will consist of three models: Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, Galaxy S21 Ultra. We can't rule out the arrival of a Samsung Galaxy S21 FE in the second half of the year, given the success of the Galaxy S20 FE. The three models have identical technical features and differ in screen and cameras.
Samsung Galaxy S21: the data sheet
All models in Samsung's S21 range will feature Snapdragon 875/Exynos 2100 processor and the same connections: 5G cellular, Bluetooth 5.1 and Wi-Fi 6.
The Galaxy S21 will have a 6.2-inch screen with FHD+ resolution, 120 Hz refresh and OLED LTPS technology. The Galaxy S21+ will have the same screen, but 6.7 inches in size. The S21 Ultra will have a completely different screen: 6.8 inches, WQHD+ LTPO with adaptive refresh up to 120 Hz.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 will have a 4,000 mAh battery, the Galaxy S21+ 4,800 mAh, the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5,000 mAh.
Samsung Galaxy S21: the cameras
The biggest differences between the models in the upcoming Galaxy S21 range, however, we find in the rear camera compartment, from three sensors on the S21 and S21+ and four sensors on the Ultra.
Galaxy S21 and S21+ will have a 12 MP main sensor, a 12 MP wide-angle lens and a 64 MP telephoto lens. Completely different is the Galaxy S21 Ultra's sensor rack: second-generation 108 MP main sensor, 12 MP wide-angle lens, 10 MP 3X optical zoom and 10 MP 10X optical zoom. The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, then, will be a camera phone with exceptional performance and, most likely, a very high cost.
