Vivo IQOO is a new gaming smartphone with a very powerful hardware platform: Snapdragon 855, 12GB of RAM and 256GB of memory
As already done by Huawei with Honor and Xiaomi with PocoPhone, also Vivo, a leading Chinese company in the mobile industry, launches a new sub-brand: IQOO. The name is quite complicated to pronounce, but Vivo bets a lot on this new brand and has already launched the first smartphone. The goal is to make devices with very high performance, but with a lower price than the competition. A market strategy that has brought excellent results for Honor and PocoPhone.
The first smartphone has the same name as the brand: Vivo IQOO. It is a device with characteristics of a true top of the range. On board we find the Snapdragon 855 chipset and up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The Vivo IQOO is a gaming smartphone and for lovers of photographs. It integrates a cooling system that keeps temperatures in check while gaming and a triple rear camera that guarantees top-notch shots. The smartphone is already available for pre-order in China and in the future should also arrive in Europe, but there is no release date yet.
Vivo IQOO, the features
Aboard the Vivo IQOO we find the Snapdragon 855 chipset supported by 6/8/12GB of RAM and 128/256GB of internal memory. The smartphone is available in four different versions, including a premium one with a carbon cover. The smartphone's display is 6.41 inches with FullHD+ resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. Classic design with teardrop notch. The back cover is made of glass with a vertical LED strip that lights up when we play.
On the back we also find a triple camera with 12 Megapixel main sensor, 13 Megapixel wide-angle secondary lens and 2 Megapixel sensor for depth. The front camera is 12 Megapixel. The fingerprint sensor is integrated into the screen. Unlocking via facial recognition is also present. 4000mAh battery with support for the Vivo SuperFlash Charge 44W that provides 85% battery life in 30 minutes.
The Vivo IQOO also integrates features designed specifically for the world of gaming. It has a cooling system that keeps the temperature stable, even during the most extreme sessions. In addition, you can set ad hoc modes so you won't be disturbed while you're playing.
