Poter riascoltare i messaggi vocali prima di inviarli. Questa è una funzione al momento assente da WhatsApp, ma che farebbe comodo ai tantissimi utenti per poter evitare incomprensioni o brutte figure.

Mark Zuckerberg in recent months has been working on an enhancement of the functionality of WhatsApp, as if to reinvigorate the many users who scared by the new privacy policy have abandoned the messaging app in favor of Signal and Telegram. Among the latest innovations arrived and much appreciated, the possibility of being able to play back voice messages at increased speed up to 2x. Also in play is the multi-device mode, which will finally allow you to be able to use WhatsApp on PCs and tablets even when your phone is disconnected. The latest rumor, however, is even juicier: to be able to listen to voice messages before sending them, tracing the useful function already present on Telegram.

WhatsApp: what changes for voice messages

To talk about the new features for voice messages is  WABetaInfo, more than reliable source when talking about WhatsApp beta versions and future features that will soon arrive in the final version of the app. Just the site had announced the arrival of 2x speed for voice playback in the app, then released for all users.

According to the site, in the beta 2.21.13.17 of the WhatsApp app for Android appeared changes to the features of the voice messages, which recall the graphics present for the voice messages sent in Instagram's Direct. In the voice message appears the graphic representation of the sound wave that is being recorded instead of the classic progress line that we are used to seeing.

The novelty is not limited to the varied graphics, but opens a real challenge to rival Telegram. WhatsApp users, in addition to seeing the sound wave and the Trash button to delete the audio and cancel sending it, will also see a stop button on the recording so they can listen to it again before sending it.

WhatsApp: other upcoming news

Among the other upcoming news we've been talking about for a while now, the most anticipated one is definitely the multi-device mode for WhatsApp. According to the latest news, the feature could arrive as early as the next few months and will allow you to connect to 4 devices in addition to your smartphone, whether they are tablets or PCs.

In this way, users will be able to chat, send voice and video messages, call and make video calls from any device on which the WhatsApp app is installed, but especially even when the phone where the main account is registered is disconnected, perhaps because it is turned off or unloaded.

The only limitation, at the moment, is the possibility of using it on two smartphones at the same time: the account is still tied to the phone number on the SIM.
