Apple will launch an iPhone 12 with a 5.4-inch screen and a reduced price: it should cost about 700 euros. The technical characteristics
There is good news for Apple fans: the iPhone 12 will be presented in September, without any delay caused by the Coronavirus. The new smartphones of the Cupertino company, in fact, will go into production as early as next month and at most there will be a few weeks of delay for the arrival on the market. In these days, moreover, Apple has also obtained the certification of its next iPhones, a necessary step to be able to launch them on the European market.
Thanks to the certification, moreover, you can also find out which and how many will be the iPhone 12 models. In total, Apple has requested nine certifications: A2172, A2176, A2341, A2342, A2399, A2403, A2407, A2408 and A2411. This doesn't mean that there will be nine different iPhone 12s in total, but that there will be nine total versions. The models, in fact, will be four and already this is a great news for the Cupertino company, which until now had never presented more than three devices at the same time. There will be two iPhone 12 and two iPhone 12 Pro. The first will be the cheapest models, while the two models of iPhone 12 Pro will be premium smartphones with unique features, such as the ProMotion screen with variable refresh rate between 60 and 120Hz.
Between the two cheapest iPhone 12 there will also be a model that will make users happy: low price (less than 700 euros), but above all compact size, with the screen of only 5.4 inches.
iPhone 12, how it will be the mini version
The success of the second-generation iPhone SE seems to have convinced Apple to focus more and more on devices with compact dimensions and that can also be used with one hand. For this reason, one of the four iPhone 12 will have a 5.4-inch OLED screen. A sort of return to the past for the Cupertino company, which in previous years had always been quite reluctant to make smartphones with giant screens.
The mini screen, however, should not mislead: the iPhone 12 will be to all intents and purposes a top-of-the-line smartphone. On board there will be the brand new A14 Bionic that will ensure very high performance, supported by at least 4GB of RAM. The internal memory will be 64GB or 128GB. Two, however, will be the rear cameras (as on the iPhone 11), both 12 Megapixels. As for the battery, it is difficult to make assumptions, Apple is always very reserved about this type of information. The only thing certain is that the small size will allow you to get to the end of the day without too many problems.
How much does the iPhone 12 cost
The iPhone 12 with 5.4-inch screen will be the low-cost model among the four planned to arrive in September. According to the latest rumors it should cost just under 700 euros. The launch is scheduled as always in mid-September.
