Size matters, especially when it comes to smartphones. In recent years, the market has taken a clear direction: devices with larger and larger screens and a more elongated shape. This epochal change, however, has displeased many people, who consider the smartphones released in the last two years too bulky.
Even Apple has changed its approach: since the iPhone X has decided to increase the size of its devices, up to 6.5 inches of the iPhone 11 Pro Max. This year, however, things could change: according to the latest rumors published by LetsGoDigital, a Dutch technology portal, the Cupertino-based company would plan to launch an iPhone 12 with a 5.4-inch screen. Taking into account the very thin bezels, it should be a compact device, perfect for all nostalgic of old smartphones. For September, Apple is working on as many as four devices: two low-cost top of the range and two premium smartphones. The iPhone 12 will be the largest family of mobile phones ever: the goal is to preside over the top end of the market and continue to grow.
iPhone 12, comes the version "mini"
Between the four iPhone 12 that should debut in September there will also be a "mini" model with compact dimensions. According to the latest information, Apple will launch four smartphones: an iPhone 12 with a 5.4-inch screen, an iPhone 12 Max with a 6.1-inch display, then an iPhone 12 Pro with a 6.1-inch panel and finally a Max version of the iPhone 12 Pro with a 6.7-inch screen.
The features of the devices will logically be top of the range and will differ mainly in the number of cameras. The two iPhone 12s are expected to have only two rear cameras, while the two iPhone 12 Pro models will additionally have a telephoto lens. The presence of a screen with 120Hz refresh rate should also be confirmed. Sure, however, support for 5G network.
When the iPhone 12 comes out
Although there is still no official date, it is very likely that the four models of the iPhone 12 will be presented in the second week of September, as has been the case for several years now. The release on the market is expected for the end of the same month.
How much does the iPhone 12 cost
The prices of the four models should not differ much from those of the iPhone 11. For the mini version of the iPhone 12 is hoped in a price between 600 and 750 euros.
