The iPhone 12 may not be the most anticipated applephone of 2020. They are increasingly insistent, in fact, rumors about the upcoming launch of the iPhone SE2, which should take place in the first quarter of next year. The latest rumor about it comes from the "usual" Ming-Chi Kuo, one of the most reliable sources when it comes to the house of Cupertino.
In his latest release, the Korean analyst has provided very interesting information about the next Apple smartphone. In particular, he has revealed the price of the iPhone SE2, making the mouth water to many of those who would like to buy an iPhone, but are stopped by the list price always above 500 or 600 dollars (over 800 euros in Italy and the rest of Europe). Not to be underestimated, then, the previous revelations, which had unveiled the appearance and technical characteristics of the iPhone SE2: if all rumors were confirmed, it would be one of the best devices for value for money.

As anticipated, the new device coming in spring 2020 will be offered in two versions: one with 64 gigabytes of storage space and a 128-gigabyte model. The first one, Ming-Chi Kuo claims, is expected to cost $399, while for the other version has not been disclosed
In addition, users will be able to choose between different color tones: sidereal gray, red and silver. The basic yet sleek design will resemble that of the iPhone 8, so it will have a thick bezel and a single camera inserted in the top left corner. The similar hardware will be similar to that of the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max: it will have an SoC A13 processor and 3GB of RAM, which is 1 RAM less than the mentioned devices. The camera will have a 12-megapixel sensor, it will ensure high quality photographs thanks to high sensitivity even in low light conditions.
There will be no 3D Touch, which instead is present in the iPhone 8. But this detail is not surprising, because the function has now been abandoned in the latest devices, to which the Haptic Touch has been preferred, which does not react to the force exerted by the finger on the display but only to prolonged pressure.
According to the source, the low-cost iPhone will be released in less than a year, and already the company expects a boom in sales. Apple has already ordered suppliers to produce 2 to 4 million units per month. It is expected that sales could exceed 30 million in total, just as happened with the iPhone SE, which featured a lower-than-average price. In fact, many are predicting that the new device will be called the iPhone SE 2 itself, and will be smaller in size than this one. We just have to wait for the official presentation to know in detail more specifications.
