Where to see the Giro d’Italia 2019 live TV and streaming for free

With the arrival of May, one of the most followed and loved sporting events in Italy starts: the Giro d'Italia. Arrived at the edition number 102, the Giro d'Italia is able every year to catalyze the attention of millions of Italian fans. The start is set for May 11 with a time trial in Bologna, while the arrival will be in Verona on June 2 with another time trial.

Nibali, Dumoulin, Roglic, Simon Yates, Mikel Landa and Miguel Angel Lopez: these are just some of the favorites to win the Giro d'Italia 2019. Vincenzo Nibali wants the Giro d'Italia 102 and this year he has a set of gregari of absolute value to support him: Pozzovivo, Agnoli and Caruso. But he will have to defend himself from the attacks of Simon Yates (last year among the protagonists of the pink race and winner of the 2018 Vuelta) and Dumoulin (winner of the Giro in 2017).

Giro d'Italia 2019: the favorites

There's no Froome, the last Giro d'Italia winner, nor Wiggins, winner of the 2018 Tour de France, but the list of favorites for the 2019 Giro d'Italia is full of famous cyclists. Let's start with our own Vincenzo Nibali. For the "Shark of the Strait", the Giro d'Italia is the real goal of this season and the route is suited to his characteristics, even if the time trial kilometers are many. Nibali, however, will have to deal with Dumoulin, winner of the Giro d'Italia in 2017, Simon Yates, protagonist last year, Roglic, grown so many in recent months, Mikel Landa and Miguel Angel Lopez.

As always, pay attention to surprises, especially from the Italians. Mark these two names: Fausto Masnada and Davide Formolo.
