Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite unveiled: what the new small top of the range looks like

The great little Xiaomi has already been spotted: here are its technical characteristics already known and those currently only speculated.

The first information about Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite has arrived. After weeks of waiting, have appeared on the network the first technical characteristics of the small top of the range of the Chinese company that will be part of the rich series Xiaomi Mi 11, going to join the other three more advanced models with a proposal lighter but not less quality.

To bring out the first specifications on the Lite model was the leaker Mukul Sharma, who would have seized the data on the card appeared within Google Play Console. With the launch of the Xiaomi Mi 11 and the substantial leaks appeared on the web for the Pro and Ultra models, Lite seemed to have remained on the sidelines and well away from the limelight of his older brothers. Finally, however, even this version has been able to show some of its strengths, leaving glimpses of particularly interesting aspects that soon - or so it is hoped - will help to shape the new flagship smartphone cheaper.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite, all the features

From the leak spread on the network, Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite will come in two versions: 4G and 5G. However, it is the one with the most advanced connectivity to have revealed its equipment. At the center of the 5G model ticks a Qualcomm SM7250 (765G) SoC, with an octacore CPU composed of Kryo 475 (2400 Mhz), Kryo 475 (2200 Mhz) and 6 cores Kryo 475 (1804 Mhz) and with GPU Qualcomm Adreno 620 at 625 MHz.

Other information concerns the screen of "renoir", this is the codename of the model. On the front side of Mi 11 Lite there will most likely be a display with Full HD+ resolution at 1080×2400 pixels and 440 DPI.

Three will instead be the memory variants of Mi 11 Lite 5G, as revealed by the FCC certification: 6  GB/128 GB, 8 GB/128 GB and 8 GB/256 GB. From the same, it is also revealed that the same version will support 5GHz Wi-Fi protocol in addition to being equipped with Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, NFC reader and GPS. The operating system, on the other hand, will be Android 11.

All other information currently available, however, comes from other leaks: it starts with the 4150 mAh battery with 33 Watt fast charging, fingerprint reader on the side shell and a triple module for the rear camera with 64 MP main sensor. Added to this is a detail about the screen: an AMOLED with 120Hz refresh rate. For the 4G version, however, the processor could be the Snapdragon 732G.

Xiaomi Mi 11, Pro and Ultra, technical characteristics

As for the rest of the series, the details - between confirmed and anticipations - are many. The choice of processor for the base model of the Mi 11 series, Qualcomm Snapdragon 888, will probably also fall on the Pro and Ultra models. The RAM/Memory combination, provides for Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro combined cuts up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3 disk; even more powerful and capacious Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of memory in the most advanced version.

If Xiaomi Mi 11 stops at a battery of 4.600 mAh, with 55-watt wired and 50-watt wireless fast charging in addition to 10-watt wireless reverse charging, for the other two the power goes up to 5000mAh, both with 67-watt wired and wireless fast charging, accompanied by 10-watt reverse charging. Even the MIUI has some surprises in the cylinder: from MIUI 12 confirmed on the base model, we move to MIUI 12.5 on the other two.

The screen, however, will be the same for all three. All in fact will mount a display with curved edges from 6.81 inches QHD + AMOLED with refresh rate at 120Hz, as seen on the basic specimens already available on the market.

Many differences appear even in the rear camera: if the basic version has a triple module with 108 MP primary sensor, 13 MP ultra-wide angle and macro 5 MP, the Pro model will arrive even a quad-cam, with 50 MP primary sensor, followed by ultra-wide angle 13 MP, 5 MP macro and telephoto 120x. Ultra, on the other hand, will have to only three sensors: 50 MP for the primary, which will most likely be the new  Samsung ISOCELL GN2, 48 MP ultra-wide-angle and telephoto. Equal on all three is the 20 MP front camera.
